I mentioned my purchase of the Holga, which I ended up taking home over Christmas. I showed it to my dad who then pulled out some film cameras he had and offered them to me. One was his, and one was his mom's which he had bought her.
He asked me, if you wanted old cameras, why didn't you just say anything? So I ended up with two awesome old SLR cameras. My dad pointed out that they had been bought before I was born- so that makes them at least 24 years old. This Nikon was his. I'll save the other one for another post.
I also used this one when we went to Florida for Christmas break. This is a picture of Rick reloading my Holga (something I have not gotten the hang of yet). One of the coolest things about the Nikon is that since I now have a Nikon DSLR, I can use the old lenses on the new camera. Of course, everything is all manual, but it makes for some cool pictures. I'll have to share some later.
